Cuttle Brook Nature Reserve is managed by Thame Town Council, and maintained through the extensive work of the CuttleBrook Volunteers.

Cuttle Brook is full of wildlife, a walk through the meadow makes this obvious enough.

Here are just a few examples of what can be spotted within the reserve.

A survey on the 25th April 2010 shows that Cuttle Brook is teeming with different species of birds. These include:

Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, Yellow Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, Swallow, Blackcap, Reed Warbler, Red Kite, Heron, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Wren, Crow, Rook, Pheasant, House Sparrow, Dunnock, Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Mallard Duck, Willow Warbler, Chiff Chaff, Wood Pigeon, Starling, Robin, Collared Dove, Gold Finch, Chaffinch, Moorhen, Blackbird.
